6 Biggest Stock Market Losses To Date

· Add Your Comments

The following table represents the largest stock market losses ever recorded. What is nice about having this list is that I am constantly reminded stock market crashes represent only one point in time. Sure, records were meant to be broken, and it is possible we will eventually have a day that breaks even these lofty records. But, we will also have better days, too. So when you look at these one day events, you should keep in the back of your mind days like Monday the 29th are fleeting.

We, as a nation and a world, are always motivated towards growth. We are innovative and creative entrepreneurs who never want to settle. Our drive to make products, services and life better is at the core of who we are. Our drive is our growth. And as long as we continue to design the world in such a framework that encourages us to create for benefit and for profit, we will seek out growth. And that growth, in turn, will eventually be reflected in a revitalized stock market.

Right now, the key is to regain control of our senses. While we can not predict the future, we can certainly reflect on own personal situation and on the things we can control. Give yourself the credit to know that you have made it this far in life, and tomorrow provides us the opportunity to improve ourselves and our financial situation.
